eHealth Adminstrative Interface

Contract to build a team of developers to deliver Administrative Viewer for the iEHR/PLiS BC Provincial Government Electronic Health Records system. 

Engaged and directed a team of developers to implement the user interface based on my design guidance. Developed system infrastructure for the team to build administrative UI functions using ICEFaces/JSF for this high profile project. 

As Development Manager

Based on the success of the delivery of the Administrative Viewer, I was requested to lead the distributed development team (approx. 20 developers) in moving to a more Agile approach to development. Involved in planning strategy and directing the build out of a full environment portfolio to support multiple streams of development and testing (internal and external). Instigated development processes, ran daily scrum meetings, planned sprints and facilitated defect resolution management for the team. (Oracle acquired Sun Microsystems in January 2010.)
